Got questions? Here are the most common things people ask before getting started.
WrapCred works with a wide range of vehicle wrap style, including PPF (Paint Protection Film), color change vinyl, and print & laminated graphics. We are only financing full wraps at this time.
When you apply through WrapCred, our lending partner performs a soft credit check, which does not affect your credit score. If you're approved and decide to move forward, lenders may later perform a hard credit inquiry when finalizing the loan—this can have a small, temporary impact on your credit.
WrapCred works best with approved partner shops—these are shops we’ve vetted for quality, reliability, and customer service. You can choose any shop, but we strongly encourage you to avoid going with the cheapest option just to save a buck. A low-cost wrap can end up peeling, fading, or bubbling—and you're still responsible for repaying the loan, even if the shop does a bad job.
Your financing covers the wrap, not the quality of the work. That’s why we recommend working with trusted shops who stand behind their installs with a warranty.
WrapCred helps you finance the cost of your wrap—we don’t install it ourselves. If you’re unhappy with the quality of the work, you’ll need to address it directly with the wrap shop. Most reputable installers offer warranties or will make things right if there’s a problem.
But it’s important to know: your loan still needs to be repaid, even if the install isn’t perfect. That’s why we recommend choosing a trusted shop—preferably one from our approved network—to avoid headaches down the road.

No. Payment is released after installation is confirmed. You’ll upload:
• Overview photos of the completed vehicle, and
• Close-up photos of corners and other hard-to-wrap areas (per our photo checklist).
Yes. Partner shops agree to provide reasonable free touch-ups after installation (e.g., edge lift, bubbles) as outlined in the partner agreement.
Currently, there are no upfront fees to become a WrapCred partner. Pricing for visualizer design generations has not been finalized. Our goal is to make the visualizer free for shops that finance a set number of wraps each month. Future fees or terms may be introduced as the program grows, but partners will be notified well in advance of any changes.
WrapCred absorbs the customer default risk. Shops are not responsible for loan performance.
Absolutely. We provide marketing assets and approved messaging so you can advertise financing to your customers.
